Location

For the location of my filming, I looked at a selection of churches to film at. After looking around, I got it down to three choices.

I wanted my filming to take place at night time to give it a real scary/menacing feel to it, but even though my final choice of venue was perfect in many respects, the only problem was that there wasn’t hardly any lighting apart from a small light on the church wall. I was worried that this may cause problems with the quality of the film, but as there wasn’t a main road or High Street near by, I felt my choice was still the correct one. I tried to think of ways around the lighting problem and came up with the idea of asking the actors to bring along a torch each, which turned out to be a good idea as it created enough light but kept it realistic at the same time.
